Always feeling tired?
Here are the symptoms and the diagnostic process for sleep apnea.
You may be experiencing some of the following signs and symptoms:
- Fatigue
- Irritability
- Drowsiness
- Depression
- Mood changes
- Sexual dysfunction
- Difficulty concentrating
- Memory loss
If this is the case, you may be unknowingly suffering from obstructive sleep apnea.
We recommend taking the Epworth Sleepiness Scale test, which measures general daytime sleepiness through simple, non-scientific questions. This test will help determine whether further evaluation is needed to diagnose a sleep disorder.
However, it is important to note that even if your test results are negative, you may still have sleep apnea.
If further evaluation is necessary, you will need to undergo additional screening tests (prescribed by your doctor). The appropriate test will be determined based on your symptoms and medical prescription. This test will confirm whether or not you have sleep apnea.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive care, starting with screening, education, diagnosis, and treatment of sleep apnea.
