Epworth test
An Epworth test measures the general level of daytime sleepiness through simple, though non-scientific, questions. This test indicates whether a thorough evaluation is warranted in order to diagnose a sleep disorder.
At-Home Sleep Apnea Tests
Our at-home sleep apnea screening tests are prescribed to determine whether you may be suffering from sleep apnea. Both tests are conducted in the comfort of your own bed:
- WatchPAT: A single-use, fully recyclable device offering remarkable accuracy for detecting sleep apnea at home, without compromising performance. Delivered directly to your home and easy to install, there’s no need to visit a clinic!
- Cardio-Respiratory Sleep Polygraphy (CRSP): Following your clinic appointment with one of our specialized respiratory therapists, you’ll be able to set up the screening device yourself in the evening. The device must be returned to the clinic the next day. This is an ideal option for those seeking professional support throughout their sleep apnea screening process!
Sleep laboratory
Our service locations in Blainville and the Town of Mount Royal each have two comfortable rooms to accommodate you for a full polysomnography, under the constant supervision of a respiratory therapist. Our laboratories are available to analyze several important elements, such as sleep stages, leg movements, muscle tone, and more.

Learn more
The automatic titration test aims to evaluate the appropriate pressure level to treat your apneas. The continuous pressure exerted in your upper airways through a mask keeps them open during your sleep. Automatic positive pressure (APAP) devices exert a continuously varying positive pressure throughout the night. You will sleep with the treatment device for at least 3 nights, all in the comfort of your bed.

Learn more
Spirometry provides various measurements of breathing. The first is the forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and the second is the forced vital capacity (FVC). If you are over 40 and are a current or former smoker, you are at higher risk of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). A clinic visit with a respiratory therapist can help you learn more.
