Summer means allergy season!
Summer is often synonymous with sunshine and good moods, but it can also bring its share of discomfort, especially for people with allergies! The appearance of buds and pollen can sometimes feel like a nightmare for some.
Causes of Seasonal Allergies
Seasonal allergies, also called allergic rhinitis, are caused by allergens such as pollen, mold, and fungal spores that are present in the air during certain times of the year. The body reacts to these allergens by producing histamine, a chemical that triggers allergy symptoms.
Symptoms of Seasonal Allergies
The symptoms of these allergies can vary depending on their severity and type. However, the most common symptoms include sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, itching in the nose and throat, red and swollen eyes, coughing, fatigue, and headaches. In severe cases, they can also lead to respiratory issues such as asthma.

In fact, on some devices, standard filters can be replaced with more efficient ones, called “hypoallergenic filters” or “pollen filters.” These air filters help protect the device from dust, pet hair, and ensure you breathe air with fewer allergens. They should be replaced every three to six months, depending on the device model.
