You\u2019re not alone, but know that you don\u2019t have to endure this discomfort.<\/p><p>Several factors can cause headaches, but here are three common reasons why your CPAP might be the culprit:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Incorrect humidity settings<\/strong> can cause nasal congestion, leading to sinus pressure and headaches.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>A poorly adjusted mask<\/strong> may be too tight, putting pressure on your head.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Improper pressure settings<\/strong> on your CPAP may require adjustment.<\/li><\/ul><p>No matter the cause of your headache, the most important step is to consult your respiratory therapist as soon as possible! They are the best person to help improve your sleep quality.<\/p><p>If your CPAP comes from our clinic, remember that you have access to follow-up care with one of our respiratory therapists at all times! Feel free to contact us with any questions or to check the adjustments on your device and accessories.<\/p><p>If you feel uncomfortable with your tubing, mask, or pillow, it\u2019s normal to take a few weeks to adjust to this new treatment.
