In addition to harming your dental health, it may be accompanied by headaches, jaw pain, and a disturbing noise for your sleeping partner!<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Symptoms<\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Unrestorative sleep<\/li>\n\n<li>Chronic fatigue and frequent drowsiness<\/li>\n\n<li>Jaw and\/or temple pain upon waking<\/li>\n\n<li>Headaches<\/li>\n\n<li>Ear pain<\/li>\n\n<li>Sensitive teeth<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Causes<\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Often linked to sleep apnea<\/li>\n\n<li>Periods of stress<\/li>\n\n<li>Anxiety<\/li>\n\n<li>Tobacco or alcohol consumption<\/li>\n\n<li>Neurological disorders<\/li>\n\n<li>Jaw or dental malformations<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diagnosis and Treatment<\/h3><p>Since this condition occurs during sleep, it can sometimes be difficult to diagnose. The best way to identify it is by spending a night in our sleep laboratory!
