Your CPAP may still function beyond this period, but it could begin to show signs of wear. That\u2019s why it\u2019s important to have it checked every year!<\/p><p>We understand that your CPAP is essential for your well-being and quality sleep. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend replacing it once it reaches the five-year mark.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is Your CPAP Over Five Years Old? Here\u2019s What You Need to Do!<\/strong><\/h3><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If You Have Insurance:<\/strong><\/h4><p>Check with your private or group insurance provider to see if you are eligible for CPAP reimbursement. Most insurers cover a new device every five years.<\/p><p>Also, verify the requirements for renewal\u2014some insurance companies require a prescription that is less than a year old. If this applies to you, you will need to renew your prescription.
